Our Story: In 1997, Becky Diaz was working with a company which mainly sold garbage bags to the building and construction industries. While attending to the needs of her customers, they would often ask her if she carried other items. Becky started to source these items for her customers, even though this was not their primary business. Before she knew it, a whole host of janitorial supplies were added to her line card and a new division was born. Working with building managers also opened a new opportunity to serve restaurant companies, and thus another division of products was born. In 1999, Becky decided to venture out on her own and created Acer Packaging and Supplies. With her newly formed small business, Becky saw yet another opportunity to become a registered woman owned and minority owned business. By 2002 Acer Packaging & Supplies, Inc. was now successfully certified and registered as an MWBE enterprise and proudly serves colleges and city agencies throughout New York City for the past 14 years.

The company has maintained its presence in the tristate area and continues to offer high quality products at affordable rates giving high value to its longtime customers. Acer is able to purchase bulk items and pass along the savings. It’s what we do!

Along with the help of her sisters, Acer Packaging Supplies is not just a woman owned and minority operated business, it is a family business. Denise runs the office, Michelle helps with marketing and social media, Lou is her partner and best friend and everyone in between helps to get the word out. Becky is still the driving force behind this long established business and is always ready to help her clients out whenever they need.
